Acne is an inherited disorder of the pores – pores that shed dead skin cells much faster than normal. Normal pores shed about one layer of dead skin cells per day inside the pore. The acne-prone pore sheds up to five layers of dead skin cells per day and the body just can’t keep up. This forms the microcomedone, the beginning of all acne. Taking up to 90 days, it turns into blackheads or congestion under the skin; or if bacteria is present (which just loves to feed on the dead skin cells and oil), it turns into inflamed pimples or pustules and maybe even cysts.

FAQs

Typically your home care investment will range from $240-$350. These products will last you a few months (depending on the product and the usage).
Doing the In-Person Bootcamp is the faster route to clear skin because you are being proactive and getting treatments.
The Virtual route may take a bit longer because you aren’t getting treatments, and just relying on skincare.
The acne severity and your skin’s history with acne will help you determine which route to take. This can be discussed in your consultation.
Please keep in mind that your skin is unique and it has a mind of its own. Do not rush the process.
Once you join the Acne Bootcamp you will have access to information all about acne, lifestyle choices, food/supplement info, birth control, etc. The Bootcamp requires you to come in for bi-weekly checkups until your skin is clear. Once your skin is clear it is highly recommended that you continue to get monthly treatments. Acne cannot be cured but it can be controlled.
The Acne Checkups will consist of hydrating facials ($80) or chemical peels ($87-$250).
Once you join the Acne Bootcamp you will have access to information all about acne, lifestyle choices, food/supplement info, birth control, etc. Once your skin is clear it is highly recommended that you continue to get monthly treatments. Acne cannot be cured but it can be controlled.
The Virtual Acne Bootcamp will consist of a monthly subscription of $160. This will include bi-weekly checkups, all virtually via Zoom. The checkups can range from 20-30 min. This is a time to checkin with you and your skin and make sure you are on the right track.
The Acne Checkups will consist of either hydrating facials or chemical peels. If you have severe acne it will be recommended that you do DMK Enzyme Therapy throughout your journey.
The hydrating facials are about 50min long. The facial includes a double cleanse, hydrating enzyme, extractions, high frequency, calming/hydrating mask + LED Light Therapy.
The chemical peels are about 20-30 min long. The chemical peels include a double cleanse, chemical peel, extractions, and high frequency.
Yes, there are payment plans for products. If this is something you need, please mention it on your consultation form (under the section asking if there is anything else you want to mention) so that you can get an application to apply for the payment plan. Jaclyn Kylie Skincare uses Vagaro Pay Later. It is 4-interest free installments + 6% transaction fee (included in the installments).
There is always room for customization at Jaclyn Kylie Skincare. Everyone’s budget, time, and location is going to be different. If this is something you are concerned about please bring it up during your consultation.
